Insurance
The Insurance screen displays the patient’s pertinent insurance information including the plan’s maximum and deductible and the patient’s remaining maximum and deductible.

Recall
The Recal Information screen displays the patient’s pertinent recall data including the recall date, time, and post card message, and other associated data.

Patient Image
If you are using the imaging feature on Diamond Dental Software's desktop version, then the Patient Image screen will display the patient’s default image (usually a face shot).

Prescriptions
The Prescription screen allows you to view a patient’s entire prescription history by tapping the navigation buttons at the bottom. However, the Prescription screen is also fully functional in that it allows you to enter prescriptions into the patient’s record that will later be updated to your office’s desktop Diamond Dental Software program. This is useful if you have called in a prescription while away from the office. Entering a prescription is performed in exactly the same manner as is done on your desktop version. You will select New from the File menu, then select the drug from the Drug Entry screen, then simply fill out the Dispense line.

Appointments
Pocket 3Star stores all your appointments, past and future. This includes the appointments for all providers in your office. The appointment module is not only used for lookup but can be used to set appointments as well. Appointments set using Pocket 3Star can later be uploaded to your Diamond Dental Software office computer to update its database. The Appointment Scheduler functions just like the full desktop program. You can set, edit, and delete appointments. The Schedule screen displays one provider’s appointments for one day. Up to three appointments can be displayed per time increment (matching the desktop version). To see the entire day you will scroll down. When setting an appointment, the Set Appointment screen will display. This is the same as the Appointment Setter screen seen in the Diamond Dental Software desktop version, although the Pocket PC version displays as four screens accessed by the tabs seen at the bottom of the screen. The Appt #1 tab is where you set the appointment length and Appointment Type. Two types of searches are available. The Schedule Search is used to search for existing appointments by name or account number. This will allow you to review all the appointments that have been set for a particular patient or account. The Next Available Search allows you to find all available appointment times based upon appointment length, date range, and time range.
