Recall Report
The Recall Report will give you a listing of all your patients who are on recall, and also, those who are not on recall. Displayed is the patient’s recall date, recall time, the number of recall attempts so far, and amount in dollars that the patient is delinquent (if any), and the patient’s last visit date. The Recall Report Parameters screen can be used to limited in numerous ways, for example: you can limit the report to a recall date range; get a listing of all those who are not set on recall; list the patients who you specifically do not want to recall back to your office; list the patients who were deleted from recall because they did not respond; get a listing of the patients who were in your last recall printing; get a listing of patients who were sent recall but did not respond.

Phone Book
Phone Book entries from your desktop version of Diamond Dental Software will be downloaded from your main program, along with all the other data. Pocket 3Star’s Phone Book program is fully functional. You may add names to your Phone Book, edit, or delete. The changes you make on the Pocket PC will be updated to your desktop database at a later time. Upon entering the Phone Book, your entries are displayed in the scrollable list of the Phone Listings screen. To access the item in detail, highlight it and tap Display. The Phone Book Entry screen will then open.

Utilities
Accessed from Pocket 3Star's Main Menu, the Utilities Menu provides three functions, Create E-Mail File, Practice Statistics, and Synchronization Information.

Create E-Mail File
If you have been making changes within Pocket 3Star but you are not going to be immediately back in the office for updating, you can use this option to create a file that can be e-mailed to your office for updating. The Pocket PC does not physically have to be there. Pocket 3Star can create a file named MobileDataEmail.PTSE. This file contains only data that has been added, deleted, or has changed. The Save As screen displays the name of the file that will be saved. The default file name is “MobileDataEmail.” The default file extension is PTSE. Neither of these defaults should be changed. The desktop version will be looking specifically for the file name and extension for its updating. The default location and folder to which this file will be saved is the Pocket3Star folder on your Compact Flash card. If you prefer to save this file to some alternate location, that is permissible. This file is then e-mailed to your office computer. If your Pocket PC is set up to send email attachments, you may send it directly from your Pocket PC. Otherwise you can copy the file to a computer that can perform email and send it that way.

When the file arrives at the desktop computer it must be copied into the Starwin directory of your main computer. If you are on a network, the main computer is the one that stores the data. In the Diamond Dental Software program on your office desktop computer, go to the Utilities, and click the Pocket 3Star Data Sync button. Select the choice to update the e-mail file to the desktop computer. After this is done, the changes that were made on the Pocket PC will be seen on the desktop computer.
