There are seven elements to the imported transaction. These elements are:

• Procedure Description
• Procedure Code
• Tooth Number
• Surface
• Provider’s Initials
• Status: Done (completed in one visit), Started, or Finished
• User’s Initials (the person who entered this item into the computer)

All the procedure transactions that were performed that day will be included in a similar fashion.

Customizing the Procedure Description
When importing procedures into treatment notes, you can have Diamond Dental Software replace the usual procedure description with a customized one. For example,
